Questions about example sentences with, and the definition and usage of "Be"

The meaning of "Be" in various phrases and sentences

Q: Что значит "I was intrigued" ?
A: Such a cool word "intrigue". For me it's all about the mystery. Some movies will sell the plot of, say, a spy film, by saying it has "action", "intrigue", "romance"... blah, blah, blah.
So when I say "I'm intrigued", it's often something that's piqued my interest on a more subtle level than just intellect. Sometimes it's difficult for me to say why I was intrigued, and that's actually kind of the fun of it. Intrigued is a feeling.
If any of that makes sense to you, then... Bravo! haha.
Q: Что значит Where was i !
?
A: When interrupted by something while you are talking or doing something. You then try to start doing what you were doing again.

E.g. If you are showing someone how to cook a recipe but have to leave to answer the front door. When you get back you would say:

“Now where was I? Ah, yes, this is how you cut the potatoes….”
Q: Что значит How are you miss??
A: miss - ーさん/ お嬢様 (女の子)

how are you - お元気ですか

deさんお元気ですか?
How are you miss De?
お嬢様お元気ですか?
How are you miss?
Q: Что значит That would be impossible.?
A: Okay, this is advanced so I’ll try to say it simply. Would is not only the past tense of Will, it is also used in an expression to say if something is possible. This form of would is for imaginary situations.

For example.
A: I want to climb Mt. Everest!
B: That would be impossible for you.

Here, A has not climbed anything, this is an imaginary situation. Still, B know that A cannot climb Everest.
Q: Что значит You are too anxious to do what is proper?
A: 君は不安すぎて正しいことを行っていません。
or
おどおどしすぎてちゃんとした振る舞いができていませんね。

厳しいですね。
