Synonyms of "Dans" and their differences
Q:
В чем разница между not dans la forme négative en anglais и don't ?
A:
"don't" c'est juste une contraction de "do not"
en anglais, c'est incorrecte dire "not" avant un verbe pour le nier donc, pour la forme négative dans le présente simple , on ajoute le verbe "to do"
i play ~> i don't play
i sing ~> i don't sing
commeee:
i have eaten ~> i haven't eaten
i should talk to you ~> i shouldn't talk to you
(mais, pour "to have", si le verbe est juste utilisé pour dire que vous avez quelque chose, ajoute "don't" avant)
i have a pencil ~> i don't have a pencil
voilà 😊
p.s. désolée si je me suis trompée de grammaire 😂

Q:
dans la phrase : you do not have enough coins pourquoi y'a t'il besoin d'un "do" ?
A:
More specifically – why is this expression framed using “do not“…?
If we go back 200 and more years, it was more common for people to simply say – you haven’t enough coins. This seems more logical – surely the problem is whether you have or don’t have – what does “doing“ have to do with it?
But this is the way that English progresses – different trends and habits pop up and supplant the old way of doing things. Somewhere it simply became more popular to say – you do not have – rather than – you have not.
So, if you want to sound like a person who speaks modern English, that’s the way you have to say it. There’s nothing logically or grammatically wrong with the older version, except that it makes you sound like you are 200 or 300 years old.

A:
