Q:
I am confused about
"Given in particular all the misinformation that we can, I think, rightly believe we’ve heard".
Could someone please rephrase it to a simpler sentence or tell me the meaning?
Context>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The report should be made public, and Congress should receive all the supporting material, said Senator Kamala Harris of California, a Democratic presidential candidate in 2020.
“Given in particular all the misinformation that we can, I think, rightly believe we’ve heard, it is important that the American public receive as much information and that we be as transparent as possible,” Harris said in an interview with CNN on Sunday.
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said regulations only require the attorney general to provide him and the panel’s top Democrat a summary of what was found. He called it a “‘who is going to be
pursued criminally if anybody at all’ kind of a summary.”
“He doesn’t have to give us the entire report,” Graham said on Fox’s “Sunday Morning Futures.” “If there is no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian intelligence community, then that should be the end of all this.”

A:
"we can rightly believe all the misinformation we heard" Yes, exactly. But it is important to understand that we THINK we can rightly believe it, because of the source and because it seems to make sense, but we can't really rightly believe misinformation. It's like, "I heard XY on the television and I believe XY to be right, because of the source and it fits my view of things". But it is false.
I'm sorry. This is a very bad sentence and very confusing. Harris was speaking in an interview and I am sure she can do better if she had a minute to think before answering.
