A: If something is “risky” it is dangerous in some way and has the potential to harm. Or it could be unreliable or uncertain.

You can call buying a new business “risky”.

Or if you are faced with a dangerous situation you can say things like: “Isn’t it a little too risky?”

“It seems a bit risky.”

“It’s risky but I’m willing to try.”

A: "Dangerous" is a more negative word. First of all, the consequences of danger can be more severe if things go wrong. If something is dangerous, it means you might come to serious harm. Secondly, the implication is that there are no benefits to it at all.
"Risky" can be used in situations where you may actually benefit. You take a risk, and you either suffer a loss or you gain something. So a positive outcome is possible. It is also a bit more lighthearted, the severity of the loss if things go wrong doesn't feel as extreme as with "danger".
