Не совсем нормально
I had a gathering on Friday evening. As savory meat was served, we cooked it over a gas grill until it was charred. Then, we feasted together. I was in a great mood.
"Beer lubricated my tongue" sounds strange. What are you trying to say? You can type it in Chinese.
The phrase "pitch in" is used to describe something positive, such as helping someone.
Example: Let's all pitch in to help her!

Pitch in which I look it up in the dictionary, means eat heartily 开怀大吃。

@amoytokyo It is not a common expression to use "pitch in" in reference to eating. The synonym "dig in" is much more natural when referring to eating.

@amoytokyo 喝了啤酒后我的话多了起来 can be translated to "After drinking beer, I began to chatter incessantly."
The meaning of "incessant" is "to continue without interruption", so it can be used to describe how you were talking a lot.
