@Tati801 using "girl friends" is better, also if you have your lashes done at the salon then every sentence except the"i tint my lashes" you wrote were the most suitable, the first one is used when you do it yourself

We don’t have such a pronounced difference in Russian. We can say я подстригалась, сделала маникюр, сделала наращивание ресниц (=I cut my hair, I did a manicure, I did eyelash extensions), even if we did that in a salon. That’s where my confusion comes from.

@Tati801 i understand your confusion, i was like that when i started to learn russian but just remember that russian is russian, english is english, you shouldnt apply the same logic on a different language, good luck

@winteryogurt16 "skincare routine" - уход за кожей [ uh'o:d za k'o:zhei ]lash lift - подтяжка ресниц [ patt'jashka resn'i:tc ], лифтинг ресниц [ l'i:fting resn'i:tc ]

That “procedure” with lashes:) we call ламинирование or лифтинг ресниц.

Many Russian-speaking beauty bloggers copy the English manner so far and also say "утренняя/ежедневная рутина (по уходу за кожей)", but this sounds unnatural for the persons outside of this industry.
