Do you use the present continuous to talk about future arrangements?
e.g. "Я е́ду на Хоккайдо в сле́дующем ме́сяце."

Я бу́ду е́хать на Хоккайдо в сле́дующем ме́сяце, впервы́е за год.
Я хочу замора́живать мы́льные пузыри́, когда пойду́ туда́.

I am going to Hokkaido next month for the first time in a year,
and I want to freeze soap bubbles when I go there.

I was able to figure out how to use "е́хать" and "пое́хать" differently in my sentence.
Also about "замора́живать" / "заморо́зить".

I understand you use the present simple (continuous) to discuss future arrangements.
And I suppose the first sentence expresses a stronger intent, while the second one implies the plan might change.・Я е́ду на Хоккайдо в следующем месяце.
・Я собира́юсь на Хоккайдо в следующем месяце.

So what's the difference between "Я е́ду" and "Я пое́ду" in this case?
・Я пое́ду на Хоккайдо в сле́дующем ме́сяце.

I somehow understand the difference between "когда пойду́/пое́ду туда" and "когда прие́ду туда" because the former means "to go somewhere" while latter means "to arrive somewhere".

I understand that the present tense of imperfect verbs describing movement discusses a relatively near and definite future.
I think this expression comes the closest to my intention.

・Я поеду
I will go.
"Я поеду домой на автобусе."

・Я буду ехать
I will be traveling.
