Are these sentences right?

- Prefiero juzgar por mí misma -->
I prefer to judge by myself

- Yo que tú, no me dejaría influir por la opinión de otro y juzgaría por mí mismo -->
If I were you, I wouldn't let myself be influenced by someone's opinion and would judge by myself

- Juzga por ti misma antes de sacar conclusiones precipitadas --> Judge by yourself in stead of jumping to conclusions

- Sólo se deja influir por lo que dicen otros. No es capaz de juzgar por sí mismo -->
He just let himself be influenced by what others say. He isn't capable of judging by himself

@fantasianordica For the first sentence, you can say would judge myself.

For the second one, careful how you write ‘in stead’ when there is no space in the middle, you can say ‘jumping’ but it might be better to say ‘coming’ to conclusions.

For the third one you can say either ‘let himself’ or ‘let’s himself’ and the same rules apply with the word ‘by’ you can say it with or without. I hope this makes sense?

So you can say both "judge by myself" and "judge myself", "judge by herself" and "judge herself". "By" is optional, correct?

And is it right to say "let yourself be influenced by someone else's opinion" and "let yourself be influenced by what others say"?

@fantasianordica Yeah the ‘by’ doesn’t matter, with or without you are still saying the same thing. One other example of another phrase with a similar phrase is, “I will come by and see you later.” Or you can say, “I will and come and see you later.” So in some instances the word by can be used or not. It’s like fancy decoration, there is no meaning, but the meaning of what your saying will still be understood.

With the let or let’s there is no particular meaning, unless if anyone says otherwise. I think let’s is more for addressing more than one person. To be honest let or let’s you can be still understood.
