Вопрос про Английский (американский вариант)
Hi, guys.
Could you tell me about US education?
~Talk about levels : Kinder garden, Elementary school, middle school, etc
~How many students are there in a classroom?
~What time do students go to school?
~Which activities after school do you do?
Thanks ^^

In American schools it can vary but I'll be vauge.
It's optional to go to Pre-School it can be from 1-2 years long, some kids don't go because it's like daycare with some things being taught.
Kindergarten is like a pre-school in school where you prepare for 1st grade and you learn letters and how to write your name ect
2-5 is the same. You just learning more and more new things moving on to higher levels.
6th grade is when you start Middle School and some places in the US switch schools, so its seen as a promotion. Here they prepare you for high school and you learn more and more and they add in more complicated ideas and subjects. Middle school is also when you finally start to switch classes and not stay in the same room all day. There is also no recess in Middle school.
Then you move to high school, and it's harder depending on where your standardized tests scores land you. In junior year you talk SAT, which is a equivalent to a college entrance exam. But things are changing now due to colleges being more lenient.
Four years in high school:
Freshman 9th grade
Sophomore 10th grade
Junior 11th grade
Senior 12th grade
as for after school activities every school varies- usually they have some sports teams and then clubs and maybe academic groups that may compete or just practice work.
Time depends too - i go to my bus stop at 6:40 usually, younger kids start later so elementary schools sometimes start later in the morning, same with pre-schools.

I'll continue with high school.
Every high school varies but in every class there's about 20-30 kids average and the most has been about 40.
Starting in college/university it begins again with:
First year (freshman)
Second year (sophomore)
Third year (junior)
Fourth year (senior)
The amount of people in the class vary. In your core classes (first 2 years) like English, science, math, and social studies usually you're in lecture halls because there have to be more seats for more students. (About 400-700 people)
Once you're a junior and senior, your classes will go down to about 20 people because you are now in your major. However, if the class is highly requested then you'll see as much as 100 people. My class last year had about 72 people and I'm a junior.
So when you're in university, it really depends on many factors.
* K-12 (kindergarten to 12th grade in high school) are typically 7 hours a day not including after school sports etc.) in college, you can schedule your own classes.
